Going To Montville:)

Hello:)
This weeks post will be about Montville.
On Sunday I went with my mum to Montville, we were ment to go Saturday but it was raining too heavily.
So we went Sunday but it didn't make much of a difference:)
(Luckily we had umbrellas..)
While we were there i bought a new bag for only $20:) yay!

Anyway while we were there we had lunch and we had a bowl of wedges with sour cream ( yuumm wedges..)
So we spent the day there looking through shops, trying to stay under trees so we wouldn't get wet and that's about it!

The Ginger Factory

Hey guys:)
On the weekend my Nan came up from Toowoomba and my mum and I thought it would be a good idea to go to the Ginger Factory, my Nan was really excited, but before we got there, we took a wrong turn. Luckily enough we were right near my brothers work, so we dropped in to say hi.

Eventually we got there and while we were there we went to Panny's Chocolate Factory, we bought a chocolate each to take home:) Delicious:)

We also went on the train that takes you past where they keep the bees to make honey and the old harvesting equipment, then it turned around and went back.

(Some Of The Old Equipment)
We ate ice-creams and for lunch, I had a bowl of chips and gravy with a Ginger Beer, my mum and nan both had a chicken and avocado panini with a Ginger Beer. I especially liked the gravy, it tasted soo nice:)

Dinner With The Family:)

Hey guys:)
My names Samantha and on Friday my family and myself went to a Mexican restaurant for my uncles birthday,
He had a really good time and the food was sooo nice:) I had Beef Enchiladas and a Tropical Mocktail (yuummm)]

At the restaurant they had really cool decorations, such as hats on the walls, old photos, flags and lots of candles on the tables, at the counter, really just everywhere. Everyone had a really good time, especially my uncle seeing it was his birthday :)

( This isn't the exact picture of what I took but this is what it looked like, and this is the website I got it off. ( http://nookandpantry.blogspot.com.au/2008/07/beef-enchiladas.html )

How To Draw A Palm Tree

Hey guys, My name is Samantha and I'm about to show you a step by step drawing of how to draw a palm tree.

You won't need much to draw this, all you will need is:
- A sharp pencil
- A piece of A4 paper
-A rubber
-And that's all!! :)

Step 1.
Lightly draw a slightly skinny tree trunk with a slight bend. After you do that draw a couple of curved lines going through the trunk.

( You can then draw two lines coming from the bottom of the sides of the trunk, to make it look like its on the ground)

Step 2.
OK so this next step is very simple, just draw a curved line from the left top line of the trunk, then curve the line downwards to the right, making a leaf shape, then draw a smaller version of it coming off the side of it. (Remember to make the ends of the leaves points).

Step 3.
OK so this next leaf is basically just a bigger version of the leaf that was just drawn, just going to the left this time. Just like the second step draw a small leaf coming from the side on the bottom of the leaf.

Step 4.
For the left leaf, lightly draw a line going half way down, leave a gap then draw another line, closer to the top of the leaf. Lightly shade the left half of the leaf. The leaf on the bottom, you can shade all of it or just half its up to you:) You can also lightly shade parts of the other two leaves if you want.

(Also draw a line going 3/4 of the way down the big leaf on the right).

Step 5.

OK so with this leaf it's the same as all the other leaves, it's just got a bit more shading around the edges. Remember to draw the line in the middle going halfway.

Step 6.
For this next leaf try and draw it so it is upright but slightly curving to the right. OK start by drawing a line on the left and draw a line in the middle just like the others. Draw another leaf coming off of it, but curving to the right but more downwards, And then shade it.

Step 7.
So that's all you need to do with the leaves, you can shade them more or not shade them, it's completely up to you!
Step 8.
Now with the ground all you need to do is roughly draw a very big z shape.

Step 9.

Now if you want you can shade in the trunk like this:

Step 9.
Now this isn't really a step, So now of you want you can outline it in black fine liner or colour it in, either way your all done!!:D

I got this palm tree idea from this website called dragoart.com/, I just thought I'd have a go at drawing it:)
